OUR GOALS
INTENTIONAL MOVEMENT FOR STRONGER EVERYDAY LIFE.
TONE brings intentional Lagree and Reformer Pilates to our city — workouts that are challenging, intelligent, and deeply effective. This studio was built with heart and purpose, and our hope is simple: that every person who walks in leaves stronger, more confident, and closer to discovering what they’re made for.
PILATES - LOW INTENSITY, LOW IMPACT
Reformer Pilates prioritizes spinal health through alignment, mobility, and controlled movement. It builds the deep support system around the spine, creating better posture, joint function, and everyday resilience.
LAGREE - HIGH INTENSITY, LOW IMPACT
Lagree uses slow, controlled movement to maximize time under tension and eliminate momentum. This creates deep muscle engagement and elevated heart rate without stress on the joints—delivering high intensity with low impact. Efficient transitions keep your body working continuously so every minute of class counts.
ABOUT US
At TONE Wellness Studio, we believe strength shapes how you live beyond these walls. Through Lagree and Reformer Pilates, we build resilient bodies, steady minds, and confident energy that carries into your everyday life. Our goal is simple: that every class leaves you stronger, clearer, and more capable than when you walked in.
MORE THAN FITNESS — ITS INTENTIONAL MOVEMENT FOR EVERYDAY LIFE
-
Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact strength workout performed on the Megaformer that builds muscular endurance, core stability, and total-body strength through slow, controlled movement.
-
Spring resistance creates variable, continuous tension rather than a single gravity-based load like free weights. This allows muscles to work through the entire range of motion, increasing motor unit recruitment and time under tension while reducing compressive force on the joints and spine. The result is stronger connective tissue, improved neuromuscular control, and balanced muscle development with lower injury risk.
-
The Lagree shakes occur when muscles reach fatigue under continuous tension. As available muscle fibers tire, the nervous system recruits additional fibers to keep the movement going, creating visible tremors. This process reflects strong neuromuscular engagement and is part of how Lagree develops endurance, stability, and strength.
-
No! While both use spring resistance, Lagree is a high-intensity strength method built on the Magic 10 principles—effective form, range of motion, tempo, duration, sequence, transition, tension, plane of motion, effective incline, and resistance.
Unlike Pilates, which centers on precision and breath, Lagree is designed for continuous muscular tension, endurance, and full-body conditioning. Lagree is also a living, always-evolving method, constantly refined to deliver the most efficient, low-impact way to build strength and resilience.
LAGREE QUESTIONS
-
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact strength method performed on a spring-based machine that focuses on spinal health, alignment, mobility, and core stability. Through controlled, full-range movement, it builds balanced strength, improves posture, and trains the body to move with more ease and support in everyday life.
-
Absolutely. Pilates and Lagree complement each other perfectly. Reformer Pilates improves spinal health, mobility, and movement quality, while Lagree builds muscular endurance and high-intensity strength. Doing both helps you move better, recover smarter, and get stronger without overloading the joints—giving you balance between performance and longevity.
-
YES! The method trains muscles through controlled, full-range movement while maintaining strength at end ranges, which increases joint flexibility without sacrificing stability. This approach enhances movement efficiency, reduces stiffness, and supports healthier, more resilient joints over time.
